Indirect emissions

Indirect emissions include all emission sources that are not under the company's direct control, but whose emissions are indirectly related to the company's activities.

These types of emissions fall under Scope 2 and Scope 3 of the GHG Protocol, and are more difficult to detect and calculate than direct emissions.
