Objective
Gruppo Ancora Srl chose us to lead a program to reduce Caribe Bay's environmental impact and make it the first carbon-offset water park in Italy.
Solution
Our work with Gruppo Ancora Srl began in 2022 with the GHG emissions reporting for the Caribe Bay water park's 2021 figures.
In 2023 and 2024 we continued the partnership with the Group, updating the Scope 1 and 2 emissions calculation and implementing a decarbonization strategy built on:
- targeted reduction measures;
- offsetting through certified international projects.
The strategy led the Group to cut the Caribe Bay park's emissions by 76% across the two reporting years (2021-2023) and made Caribe Bay the first carbon-offset amusement park in Italy.
