TedX Milano offset the emissions of two events by supporting certified environmental projects

The organization has always paid close attention to environmental sustainability and the problems of climate change, and it brings those themes into its discussions and its events more and more often.

Objective

TEDxMilano came to Up2You to offset the emissions of the TEDxCountdown event and put its commitment to fighting climate change into practice.

Solution

Our team supported TEDxMilano with the analysis and collection of the data needed to measure the event's carbon footprint. Using our calculator, TEDxMilano measured the CO2 emissions generated by the event and received an impact report with reduction recommendations it could put into practice.


TEDxMilano then offset the event's emissions through our certified environmental projects. Finally, with the support of our communication kit, it shared the initiative accurately and transparently.
