Key benefits for your company
What is UNI/PDR 125:2022
- Loss of competitiveness in the job market: in a market where work-life balance is a top priority for candidates, failing to offer verified and effective policies hinders your ability to attract and retain top talent.
- Lack of access to economic incentives: forgoing certification means losing the opportunity to access tax relief allocated by the Government.
- Inefficiencies and poor ESG integration: without a formal management system, welfare initiatives remain fragmented, unmeasurable, and difficult to leverage within sustainability reports or with commercial partners.

What is the UNI/PdR 192:2026 practice?
It is a voluntary national reference practice published by UNI on April 14, 2026. Promoted by the Department for Family Policies, it defines the requirements and operational recommendations for implementing a management system for work-life balance, aimed at the well-being of families and workers.
To which organizations does UNI/PdR 192 apply?
The practice applies to organizations of any sector and size, both public and private. It can be adopted with flexibility by large companies, SMEs, public bodies, cooperatives, and third-sector organizations, integrating into various pre-existing organizational models.
What are the 7 thematic areas monitored by the practice?
UNI/PdR 192 requires companies to structure and measure their policies within 7 specific areas of intervention:
- Work organization and flexibility (time and/or location)
- Support for maternity
- Support for parenthood and paternity
- Support for caregiving responsibilities (family caregivers)
- Health and personal well-being
- Welfare, financial support, and family services
- Professional development and career continuity
How do the social security contribution exemptions provided by the 2026 Labor Decree work?
Article 6 of the Labor Decree of April 30, 2026 (DL no. 62/2026) grants companies holding UNI/PdR 192 certification a partial social security contribution exemption of up to 1% of the employer's social security contributions, with a maximum cap of 50,000 euros per year per company. The incentive is applied on a monthly basis and affects only the employer's share, leaving employees' pension rights intact.
Is UNI/PdR 192 certification mandatory?
No, it is a voluntary practice. However, it is a tool that allows companies to access significant financial benefits (up to €50,000/year in tax relief) while also improving internal organization, talent retention, and their ESG market positioning.
